Interview to Andreas Günterberg

Andreas Günterberg, teacher of the Aloisiuskolleg of Bonn, explains how the first purpose of the JEEP is to create a link between young people from different countries, as a matter of fact Europe is a union of countries made of many cultures and it is indispensable to create an exchange between these cultures. This exchange of culture, habits and traditions is the reason why jeepers live in host families during the period of the project, it gives the possibility to students to learn a lot about the circumstances in which the people live in the country where they are hosted; they should not be just tourists. Andreas Günterberg brings us also the feedback of some students that took part to the project in the last years, they are aware of having learned a lot about the different of people about others countries. The students have dealt with topics from completely different points of view, they have had the possibility to discuss with people of the same age who have completely different ideas.
