The official presentation of the JEEP

Today we have assisted at the official presentation of the JEEP project to the city of Milan. The meeting took place in the center of Milan and was hosted by an important historical site, “Palazzo delle Stelline”; the introduction, made by Mr. Antonio Bertolotti, was followed by the speeches of some important personalities, Mr. Bruno Marasà, Director of regional bureau of the european Parliament and Mr. Pierre Vinck, Former Principal of St. Barbara College in Gent. The students were than directly involved as after the speeches started the official debate, the countries had been previously divided, some of them had to defend the pro Expo position and the others should represent the no Expo. After the debate, the public was invited to express his vote and even though the ideas submitted by the no Expo group were interesting and passionating, the pro Expo group won. We then returned at school and had lunch, after that we were ready to go to the Expo site. At the Expo we divided into national groups and begun to visit the pavilions, all the students were really excited and enjoyed the time.
